- 1 tsp Italian herbs/ oregano

- 1/2 Tsp pepper powder
- 1 1/2 tbsp oil
- 1 Tsp sugar
- Pizza toppings
- 200 grams mozerella cheese or as needed
- 1 1/2 cups capsicum, onion, tomato, olives, mushrooms, paneer, corn
- Oregano (as desired)
- Chilli flakes (as desired)
- Butter to spread on the top (optional)
Steps to make to make Veg pizza
- Make pizza dough- Pour lukewarm water to a mixing bowl, do not over heat, because hot water kills the yeast, so avoid it.
- Add yeast and sugar to like warm water and stir it.
- Set aside for 10-15 min and allow it to become double in size.
- After 15 mins the yeast turn bubbly and frothy, if the water doesn't turn frothy, the yeast is inactive and cannot be used for dough.
- When water turns frothy add flour, salt, oil, make fought adding water where needed.
- Knead the dough very well until it become soft, the dough shoul be soft and elastic, make sure when you press it with your finger it must bounce back.
- Apply a thin layer of oil to the bowl and dough as well, keep it covered with grease plate.
- Allow the dough to rise and double in size, it may take 2 hours depending upon the weather conditions.
- Prepare pizza sauce- heat oil in a pan and saute garlic until it smells good.
- Then add red chilli flakes, onion, saute until they turn golden.
- Add tomatoes, salt and sugar and continue to cook by covering it partially.
- Cook until the sauce thickens,add herbs and crushed pepper, mix and taste the sauce.if needed you can add spices acc to your taste.
- Cut the veggies and rinse them.
- Make pizza- Pre heat the oven to 240°c for at least 20 min
- Transfer the dough to a pizza tray, shape it to ball, place the pizza dough over the tray and flatten it slightly.
- Spread the pizza sauce as desired, layer the veggies and add grated cheese.
- Lastly sprinkle some Italian herbs, oregano, chilli flakes and spread some butter on the top.
- Bake for 10-12 min until the base turns slightly golden
- Slice and serve pizza hot or warm.
