  20. 1 dash cumin powder with Black pepper powder

  1. For meatballs You can take Chicken mince or simply take a large Chicken breast and grind it in a mixer jar or food processor. In a food processor or mixer jar take all the ingredients and grind it till become smooth. Don't add any water the egg, yoghurt and onion will give sufficient amount of water. To it add the chicken mince and again grind until combines well with all the spices. Now keep this mixture in a bowl cover it and marinate it for 3-4 hours preferably overnight.

Marinara sauce In a saucepan add oil then add diced onions saute when get translucent add the garlic saute well and add salt when the onions start to get golden brown add the tomatoes and mix very well now add chilli flakes, Italian herbs, cumin and black pepper powder give it a good mix and cover it. Cook on a medium flame until the tomatoes are soft and mashy. Now mix it very well mashing the tomatoes to give it a saucy texture. When it start to thicken up off the flame and sauce it ready.
  4. At this point give a taste test to balance it. At this stage after cooling down the sauce I grind it with some fresh cream to give that silky texture and this is totally optional. You can store this sauce when completely cool down in a refrigerator for about 8-10 days. It goes very well with pasta, macaroni, fried chicken.
  5. ASSEMBLING In a serving dish arrange the meatballs then pour over the prepared hot marinara sauce. You can even add coriander leaves or a twig of mint leaves for decoration. Serve it with roti or paratha or any bread of your choice. IMPORTANT You can use any oil but marinara sauce goes more delicious with olive oil.
